MEDSONIC LTD announces that the company has been approved by the Research promotion foundation to participate in the COST program (TD1007) ‘Bimodal PET-MRI molecular imaging technologies and applications for in vivo monitoring of disease and biological processes’.

MEDSONIC LTD announces that the proposal SONOPLAQUE has been considered eligible for funding by the Research promotion foundation under the program ΕΠΙΧΗΡΗΣΕΙΣ/ΝΕΑΠΡΟΙΟΝΤΑ. The aim of this program is to develop an ultrasonic transducer for destroying atherosclerotic plaque using MRI guidance.

MEDSONIC LTD announces that the company will participate in the FP7 program (EUREKA, EUROSTAR) PROFUS. This 2 million Euro project will focus in the development of an MRI guided Focused ultrasound (MRg FUS) system for prostate cancer. The ultimate goal in this project is to perform clinical trials (Phase I) in a number of patients.
